The "shade" is made from dried palm fibers, also known as Table Palm or Fan Palm. This is a very attractive and elegant palm with large, shiny fan-shaped leaves and thorny stems. It grows in Southeast Asia and New Guinea.
The fringes are made from dried Seagrass leaves.
