Choosing the right rug can be a matter that can concern each of us quite a bit. Since a beautiful and impressive rug adorns our space and gives it character, we always want to make the best choice that will suit our aesthetic.
This rug is RUSTY RED with black details, and will give a modern feel to your living room.
Info: The rug or carpet has been a part of human civilization for centuries. The oldest surviving rug in the world is in Armenia and dates back to the 5th century BC. Of course, the knotted rug probably originated in the 3rd or 2nd millennium BC in Western Asia, perhaps in the Caspian Sea region (Northern Iran) or from Armenia, although there is evidence that goats and sheep had been slaughtered for this purpose since the 7th millennium! Rugs are traditionally made of wool, but from the 20th century onwards, they are often made of synthetic fibers such as polypropylene, nylon or polyester, as these fibers are less expensive than wool.

MATERIALS:
The rug is made of 40% polyester fibers with a chenille weave. Single-sided chenille is mainly used for rugs and takes its name from the French word (chenille) meaning caterpillar. It actually consists of 4-6 threads in a knitted weave, from which the threads protrude to form the pile surface. Chenille is one of the most beautiful and softest materials you can find. It has a dense weave, is opaque, soft to the touch, and very durable. Its velvety pile gives it a peculiarity and warmth, while exuding prestige and quality to the space. Suitable for people with wool allergy.
Polyester fibers are an abbreviated name for a synthetic, man-made polymer, which, as a specific material, is most often referred to as a type called polyethylene terephthalate (PET). It is clear, therefore, that it is resistant to all kinds of wear and tear, and especially to moisture.
The remaining 60% of the rug consists of recycled cotton, which ideally complements the chenille weave, and is also resistant to moisture.
MAINTENANCE:
In addition to regular vacuuming, thanks to its durable construction materials, this rug can be washed without fear with running water and mild detergents, such as dishwashing detergents. Of course, there are also special cleaning products for all kinds of rugs on the market that you can use without fear. Just be careful not to rub the cotton bottom part hard, but only wash it with water.
