Info: The carpet or rug has been a part of human civilization for centuries. The oldest surviving carpet in the world is found in Armenia and dates back to the 5th century BC. Of course, knotted carpets probably originated in the 3rd or 2nd millennium BC in Western Asia, perhaps in the Caspian Sea region (Northern Iran) or in Armenia, although there is evidence that goats and sheep were slaughtered for this purpose as early as the 7th millennium! It is clear, therefore, that it is resistant to all kinds of wear and tear, and especially to moisture. The cotton base of the carpet is also particularly resistant to moisture.
MAINTENANCE:
Thanks to its durable construction materials, this carpet can be washed without fear with running water using mild detergents, such as dishwashing detergents. Of course, there are also special cleaning products for all types of carpets on the market that you can use without hesitation. Just be careful not to rub the cotton bottom part hard, but only wash it with water.
