**ADVANTAGE OF INSTALLATION:
The specific surface has German Slots ("slits" or "guides") on its back, into which the special square-headed screws included in the package fit, and you can adjust their distance along the "guide" to match the base you have. So, you place the surface on the base you have (square or "cross"), and then tighten it with the washers also included in the package. This way, you completely avoid drilling into the surface.
