In short...: Tufting is a type of fabric or a sewing technique where seams and stitches form various patterns and folds or bumps. In tufting, the fabric is "puffy" and held in place by seams which, at certain points, "sink" the fabric. This means that tufting creates many small puffy bumps separated by seams. These bumps can be diamonds, squares, stripes, and many other patterns. The purpose of this style is to break monotony by creating various patterns on the fabric. This improves the overall appearance of the item. It gives a sense of luxury and design detail.
The mattress is supported by traditional yet ergonomic support slats, while the legs are in a black finish.

An ideal choice for cleaning velvets is also leather (i.e., the cloths we use to dry cars).
