Introducing the MYLIE bergère armchair, in ECRU color with natural wood legs. The high back with the opening low at the back, and the almost "bucket" design, give the armchair a special beauty, combined, of course, with the high-quality bouclé fabric. The seat is comfortable, responding to the character of the armchair, while the characteristic feature of this armchair is its strong curves both high on the back and on the armrests. It is modern, combining style and comfort, and you can place it next to the fireplace, by a window, or even in your bedroom, and surrender to its "embrace."
Mini Story: The history of the Bergère (see bergere) begins around 1720, in the salons of the Palace of Versailles during the time of Louis XV, where it was considered the armchair of the nobles and the upper bourgeoisie. Its construction from special wood, combined with the luxurious fabrics of the era, gave it the feeling of a throne. From its early years, it was considered the queen of seats, both for the privacy it offered with its open armrests, high back, and curved sides, and for its dominance in the space as a decorative element. Over the years, the Bergère armchair (depending on the era and fashion) changed its appearance. It was dressed in floral fabrics, leather, many different patterns with special textures, even Chesterfield. Although over the years we have seen design variations of the bergère, the armrests were upholstered, the back was raised, the size of the cushion changed, but the basic idea of the large, comfortable armchair never changed. A large comfortable armchair is often better than an entire sofa.
DIMENSIONS:
66x76x90H cm.
Seat dimensions: 45x60 cm.
Back dimensions: 45x47 cm.
Seat height: 43 cm.
Armrest height: 58 cm.
Leg height: 27 cm.
Leg distance: 46x48 cm.
MATERIALS OF CONSTRUCTION:
The wooden frame of the armchair is extremely sturdy and durable.
The legs are wooden, which also adds durability to weight and time, while at their bottom they have plastic caps for floor protection and for the legs themselves from moisture.
The "fillings" of the bergère, both in the back and in the seat, are made of medium-firm foam materials that offer great comfort and better body support.
The entire upholstery of the bergère is made with excellent quality BOUCLÉ fabric. Bouclé is any fabric that has a knot-curl in its weave. It is made from almost all raw materials (although it is usually synthetic) with special knotted threads or highly twisted yarns, so that it has a curly surface. It does not wrinkle and can be plain, mélange, plaid or tweed.
MAINTENANCE:
You can vacuum the bouclé fabric, and in case of stains, use a slightly damp cloth.
ADVANTAGES:
•Sturdy construction
•Aesthetic superiority with the warm bouclé fabric
•High legs
•Ready for delivery
•Easy assembly
The product is delivered unassembled in factory packaging
