Introducing the MYLIE bergere armchair, in a soft light BROWN color with natural wood-colored legs, creating a beautiful two-tone effect. The high back with the opening low at the back, and the almost "bucket" design, give particular beauty to the armchair, combined, of course, with the high-quality boucle fabric. The seat is comfortable, responding to the character of the armchair, while the characteristic feature of this armchair is its strong curves, both high on the back and on the armrests. It is modern, combining style and comfort, and you can place it next to the fireplace, by a window, or even in your bedroom, and surrender to its "embrace."
Mini Story: The history of the Bergere (see bergere) begins somewhere in 1720, in the salons of the Palace of Versailles during the time of Louis XV, where it was considered the armchair of the nobles and the upper bourgeoisie. Its construction from special wood, combined with the luxurious fabrics of the era, gave it the feeling of a throne. From its early years, it was considered the queen of seating, both for the privacy it offered with its open armrests, high back, and curved sides, and for its dominance in the space as a decorative element. The Bergere armchair changed its appearance over the years (depending on the era and fashion). It was dressed in floral fabrics, leather, many different patterns with special textures, and even Chesterfield. Although over the years we have seen variations in the design of the bergere, the armrests were upholstered, the back was raised, the cushion dimensions changed, but the basic idea of a large, comfortable armchair never changed. A large comfortable armchair, many times, is better than an entire sofa.
DIMENSIONS:
67x75x93H cm.
Seat height: 46 cm.
Armrest height: 61 cm.
Seat dimensions: 44x60 cm.
Back dimensions: 49x45 cm.
Leg spacing: 48x50 cm.
CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS:
The wooden frame of the armchair is extremely sturdy and durable.
The legs are wooden, which also adds resistance to weight and time, while at their bottom they have plastic caps for floor protection and protection of the legs themselves from moisture.
The "fillings" of the bergere, both in the back and in the seat, are made of medium-hardness foam materials that offer great comfort and better body support.
The entire upholstery of the bergere is made of excellent quality BOUCLE fabric. Boucle is any fabric that has a knot-curl in its weave. It is made from almost all raw materials (although it is usually synthetic) with special knotted threads or tightly twisted yarns, so that it has a curly surface. It does not wrinkle and can be plain, mélange, checkered or tweed.
MAINTENANCE:
You can vacuum the boucle fabric, and in case of stains, use a slightly damp cloth.
ADVANTAGES:
•Sturdy construction
•Aesthetic superiority with the warm boucle fabric
•High legs
•Ready for delivery
•Easy assembly
The product is delivered unassembled in its factory packaging
