Introducing the MYLIE bergere armchair, in PISTACHIO color with natural wood legs. The high back with a low opening at the back, and the almost "bucket" design, give the armchair a special beauty, combined, of course, with the high-quality bouclé fabric. The seat is comfortable, reflecting the character of the armchair, while the distinctive feature of this armchair is its strong curves both high on the back and on the armrests. It is modern, combining style and comfort, and you can place it by the fireplace, by a window, or even in your bedroom, and let yourself relax in its "embrace."
Mini Story: The history of the Bergere (see bergere) begins around 1720, in the salons of the Palace of Versailles during the time of Louis XV, where it was considered the armchair of the nobility and the upper middle class. Its construction from special wood, combined with the luxurious fabrics of the era, gave it the feeling of a throne. From its early years, it was considered the queen of seating, both for the privacy it offered with its open armrests, high back, and curved sides, and for its dominance in the space as a decorative element. Over the years, the Bergere armchair changed its appearance (depending on the era and fashion). It was upholstered with floral fabrics, leather, many different patterns with special textures, even Chesterfield. While over the years we have seen design variations of the bergere, the armrests were upholstered, the back was raised, the cushion dimensions changed, but the basic idea of the large, comfortable armchair never changed. A large, comfortable armchair is often better than an entire sofa.
DIMENSIONS:
67x75x93H cm.
Seat height: 46 cm.
Armrest height: 61 cm.
Seat dimensions: 44x60 cm.
Back dimensions: 49x45 cm.
Leg spacing: 48x50 cm.
CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS:
The wooden frame of the armchair is extremely sturdy and durable.
The legs are wooden, which also provides resistance to weight and time, and they have plastic caps at the bottom to protect the floor and the legs themselves from moisture.
The "fillings" of the bergere, both in the back and in the seat, are made of medium-firm foam materials that offer great comfort and better body support.
The entire upholstery of the bergere is made with excellent quality BOUCLÉ fabric. Bouclé is any fabric that has a knot-curl in its weave. It is made from almost all raw materials (although it is usually synthetic) with special knotted threads or very twisted yarns, so that it has a curly surface. It does not wrinkle and can be plain, melange, checked, or tweed.
MAINTENANCE:
You can vacuum the bouclé fabric, and in case of stains, use a slightly damp cloth.
ADVANTAGES:
•Sturdy construction
•Aesthetic superiority with the warm bouclé fabric
•High legs
•Ready for delivery
•Easy assembly
The product is delivered unassembled in factory packaging
