CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS:
The entire sun lounger is made of impregnated pine wood with an additional layer of water-based varnish. Pine is a soft, white or light yellow wood that is lightweight with straight wood grain. It resists shrinkage, expansion, and warping. Impregnation in a broad sense is the coloring of wood (usually varnishes) by the dipping method.
The mattress is upholstered with waterproof reinforced textilene fabric. This is a thick, strong, and durable polyester fabric. This means it is made of polyester threads woven from edge to edge, and is PVC coated.

MAINTENANCE:
The key to keeping the sun lounger like new for many years is regular cleaning with a damp cloth to remove salt, although its construction with water-based varnish makes it particularly durable.
