HM5897-Tropical Beach Umbrella ----Professional beach umbrella made of straw. This is the classic design but with a tropical look thanks to the additional leaves on the umbrella. The shade provided is of high quality, as expected from such an umbrella. In fact, after some time and depending on the weather, the leaves bend downwards creating a beautiful oval shape. The wooden pole is tall and round. The straw is supported by a metal frame with one ring and 6 spokes, and a distinctive feature of this umbrella is that it has 3 metal braces that are directly attached to the wooden pole. MATERIALS:
The umbrella is made of straw, and the umbrella pole is made of "wild" pine wood, impregnated and turned.
Did you know that….: Impregnation, in the broad sense, is the coloring of wood (usually varnishes) by the immersion method. However, regular wood impregnation is done in a kiln under pressure. There, through the application of a preservative substance, the wood is protected for many years from fungi and insects, resulting in a lifespan many times longer than that of non-impregnated woods.
The metal frame is galvanized. This means a zinc coating for oxidation resistance. The lifespan of a galvanized coating can reach up to 30 years for excellent quality galvanization, although placement near the sea significantly reduces this period.
MAINTENANCE:
For better maintenance of the metal parts of the umbrella, it would be advisable to clean it daily with a slightly damp cloth to remove excessive salt accumulation. In this way, it will remain in good condition for many years.
ADVANTAGES:
