Polyester fibers are a shortened name for a synthetic, man-made polymer, which, as a specific material, is most often referred to as a type called polyethylene terephthalate (PET). It is clear, therefore, that it is resistant to all kinds of wear and tear, and especially to moisture. The cotton base of the rug is also particularly resistant to moisture.
MAINTENANCE:
Thanks to the durable construction materials, this rug can be safely washed with running water and mild detergents, such as dish soap. Of course, there are also special cleaners for all kinds of rugs on the market that you can use without fear. Just be careful not to scrub the cotton bottom too hard, but only wash it with water.
