Introducing the DANIA bergère, in GREY with black metal legs. The entire bergère is upholstered in velvet, and the extra lumbar cushion is also upholstered in the same fabric. This is a simple yet imposing piece that will be the center of attention in any living room.

Mini Story: The history of the Bergère (see bergere) begins around 1720, in the salons of the Palace of Versailles during the time of Louis XV, where it was considered the armchair of the nobility and the upper bourgeoisie. Its construction from special wood, combined with the luxurious fabrics of the era, gave it the feel of a throne. From its early years, it was considered the queen of seating, both for the privacy it offered with its open arms, high back, and curved sides, and for its dominance in the space as a decorative element. Over the years (depending on the era and fashion), the Bergère armchair changed its appearance. It was upholstered with floral fabrics, leather, many different patterns with special textures, even Chesterfield. Although over the years we have seen design variations of the bergère, the arms were upholstered, the back was raised, the dimensions of the cushion changed, but the basic idea of the large, comfortable armchair never changed. A large, comfortable armchair is often better than an entire sofa.

DIMENSIONS:
67x80x102 cm.
Seat dimensions: 49x41-59 cm.
Backrest dimensions: 66x67H cm.
Armrest dimensions: 51x23H cm.

Leg spacing: 58x73.5 cm.

Seat height: 44.5 cm.
Leg height: 35 cm.
Armrest height: 61.5 cm.

Cushion dimensions: 40x31 cm.

CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS:
The "fillings" of the bergère, both in the back and in the seat, are made of medium-firm foam materials that offer better body support.

The entire bergère is upholstered with high-quality velvet fabric, giving it an attractive appearance and a refined charm to your living room decor. Velvet is a fabric that leaves no one indifferent! Whether it covers small or large surfaces, it cannot help but make its presence felt in the space and attract attention. Velvet is a fabric that was particularly loved by kings and emperors of past centuries, thus becoming synonymous with luxury and glamour. It has flooded the windows of the largest stores and is one of the most favorite choices of the most renowned designers worldwide. It is a soft, relaxed, delightful, and elegant fabric that is impossible to resist. The positive aspect is that it can easily harmonize with any type of decor, adding finesse and good taste to the space.

Mini Story: The reason why velvet was once an object only for the eyes of kings and emperors was the fact that it was mainly made from silk fibers and with a very special processing that required a lot of time and a special loom. Fortunately, today things have changed and this wonderful fabric is accessible to everyone.

MAINTENANCE:
To keep velvet clean and fluffy, it is advisable to vacuum it once a week. Attach a soft brush, set your vacuum cleaner to a gentle program, and vacuum the entire surface in the direction of the fiber. You will see that the dust will immediately be removed and the pile of the fabric will become like new.
Under no circumstances should you rub a velvet fabric. Even if you need to remove a stain, do not rub it. Dampen a soft cloth with water and dab the stain locally.
Leather (i.e., the cloths we use to dry cars) is also an ideal choice for cleaning velvets.
