Introducing the BRANDON armchair, in a beautiful CYPRESS color with wooden legs. The legs are in natural wood color, and the front legs in particular have a beautiful carved finish. The backrest is upholstered with a tufted technique, which gives the armchair a special beauty in combination, of course, with the high-quality velvet fabric. The armrests and seat are particularly comfortable, living up to the armchair's character.
Classic yet modern, you can place it by the fireplace, by a window, or even in your bedroom, and surrender to its embrace!

Mini Story: The history of the Bergere (see bergere) begins around 1720, in the salons of the Palace of Versailles during the time of Louis XV, where it was considered the armchair of the nobility and the upper middle class. Its construction from special wood, combined with the luxurious fabrics of the era, gave it the feeling of a throne. From its early years, it was considered the queen of seating, both for the privacy it offered with its open armrests, high back, and curved sides, and for its dominance in the space as a decorative element. Over the years (depending on the era and fashion), the Bergere armchair changed its appearance. It was dressed in floral fabrics, leather, many different patterns with special textures, even Chesterfield. Although over the years we have seen design variations of the Bergere, the armrests were upholstered, the backrest was raised, the cushion dimensions changed, but the basic idea of the large, comfortable armchair never changed. A large, comfortable armchair is often better than an entire sofa.

In a nutshell…: Tufting is a type of fabric or a sewing technique where seams and stitches form various designs and pleats or bumps. In tufting, the fabric is like "puffy" and held in place by the seams, which at the points where they are located "sink" the fabric. That is, in tufting, many small puffy bumps are created, separated by the seams. These bumps can be diamonds, squares, stripes, and many other designs. The purpose of this style is to break the monotony by creating various designs in the fabric. This improves the overall appearance of the item. It gives a sense of luxury and design detail.

DIMENSIONS:
81x83x101 cm.
Seat height: 49 cm.
Armrest height: 64 cm.
Seat dimensions: 52x56 cm.

MATERIALS:
Both the frame and the legs are made of solid wood. When we refer to solid wood, we mean wood made entirely from a tree trunk. Solid wood is the most expensive wood choice but is distinguished by its durability.

The "fillings" of the armchair, both in the backrest and the seat, are made of medium-hardness foam materials that provide better body support.

The entire upholstery of the armchair is made of excellent quality velvet fabric, giving it an attractive appearance and sophisticated charm in your living room decor. Velvet is a fabric that cannot leave anyone unmoved! Whether it covers small or large surfaces, it cannot but make its presence felt in the space and attract attention. Velvet is a fabric that was particularly loved by the kings and emperors of past centuries, thus becoming synonymous with luxury and glamour. It has flooded the windows of the largest stores and is one of the most beloved choices of the most renowned designers worldwide. It is a soft, relaxed, delightful, and elegant fabric that is impossible to resist. The positive aspect is that it can be easily harmonized with any type of decoration, giving the space finesse and aesthetics.

Mini Story: The reason why velvet was once an item only for the eyes of kings and emperors was the fact that it was mainly made from silk fibers and with a very special process, which required a lot of time and a special loom. Fortunately, today things have changed and this wonderful fabric is accessible to everyone.

MAINTENANCE:
Thanks to its durable construction materials, the armchair is user-friendly. Specifically, to keep velvet clean and fluffy, it is advisable to clean it once a week with a vacuum cleaner. Attach a soft brush, set your vacuum cleaner to a gentle program, and vacuum the entire surface in the direction of the fiber. You will see that dust will be immediately removed and the pile of the fabric will look like new.
Under no circumstances should you rub a velvet fabric. Even if you need to remove a stain, do not rub it. Dampen a soft cloth with water and dab locally on the stain.
Leather (i.e., the cloths we use to dry cars) is also an ideal choice for cleaning velvets.
