The importance of quality sleep in infants and children is perhaps even greater than in adults. Children, after all, sleep more than adults precisely because they are in constant motion. Proper rest aids in the child's perfect mental and intellectual development, and of course, physical development. It is, in fact, much more important for children to have a mattress that will properly support their spine during sleep because they are in their developmental phase, and an incorrect mattress can lead to permanent musculoskeletal damage. Therefore, the most important factor for children's proper sleep is the mattress.

In general, the mattress must be new, anatomical, and fit properly in the bed without leaving openings larger than 4 cm, where the baby could get trapped while sleeping.

TIP: It is advisable to use a mattress topper with foam materials on top of the mattress for even higher quality sleep for children. Also, due to the fact that children often "wet" the mattress in their sleep, and this is of course not good for the mattress, the use of a waterproof cover is recommended, which will also provide protection against allergies and will generally be antimicrobial.

This children's mattress is made with the traditional and most durable mattress construction. It consists of multiple springs of the same type and hardness, connected in a grid. This grid forms the heart of the mattress and is responsible for how the weight will be distributed. Bonnell mattresses are usually harder than mattresses with independent pocket springs and foam mattresses.

CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS:

The surface of the mattress is made of Jacquard fabric. Jacquard is essentially a type (a technique) of weaving. The name "jacquard" is due to Joseph Marie Jacquard, a merchant from France. In the early 19th century, Jacquard invented a pioneering new form of loom. This new loom allowed for the creation of patterns during the weaving of fabrics. In honor of the inventor of this new type of loom, the machine was named Jacquard. Over the years, the meaning of the word jacquard became more general and no longer literally refers to Jacquard's machine; it is now used to describe fabrics made with this technique, i.e., with weaving that allows for the creation of patterns on the fabric from the same yarn and with the same or a different color.

Next, there is a layer of fabric and a layer of foam.
Underneath these, there is a cotton wadding made of thick and heavy cotton fabric.
Then, there is another layer of foam material and a layer of hard wadding.

Around the perimeter, there is a layer of stabilizing foam and a layer of hard felt for greater stability.
The heart of the mattress consists of 119 continuous bonnell springs per m2.
On the other side, there are again a series of materials as described and shown in the verbal diagram.

MAINTENANCE:
• Periodically expose your mattress to the sun for proper ventilation
• Leave windows open for 30 minutes daily to remove moisture, especially during winter when it is the main cause of mattress odor
• Do not bend the mattress as there is a risk of deformation and damage
• Do not use it as a "trampoline" for children
• Keep it dry
• Wash sheets at high temperatures and iron them well to kill various microorganisms, and place them dry on top of the mattress
• Do not iron on the mattress
• Protect it from liquids and clean it locally only with special cleaners
• The base of the mattress must be free of protrusions, curves, and bumps. It should be on a flat surface
