This handmade table features a rectangular fir wood top in a NATURAL color, and beautifully designed legs in an OFF-WHITE color made of MDF with a rough cement texture, which is the latest trend in interior design. CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS:
The legs-bases are made of MDF. MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) is a modern, widely used material whose main characteristics are that it absorbs minimal moisture, has homogeneity in its mass, satisfactory mechanical properties, excellent smoothness, and many processing possibilities.
The table surface is made of fir wood. Fir is a type of evergreen coniferous tree, strong and durable.
**Existing cracks or those that may develop over time are due to the contraction-expansion of the living organism called solid wood, and do not constitute a manufacturing defect. Therefore, there may be color variations and differences in the dimensions of the product due to the processing of the wood. These do not constitute a product defect.
MAINTENANCE:
Solid wood of any kind is considered high quality. In case of damage or scratches, it can be repaired and last for many years. To clean the wood from dust and old age, a potent yet gentle material is needed, so as not to damage the wood, always following the wood grain. Furniture made of good, real wood needs regular hydration, as its wood dries out easily, at least once every three months. We recommend regularly nourishing it with wax or special oils, which can be easily found in all supermarkets. Whichever material you use, apply it with a cotton cloth (always following the wood grain). Use a small amount to be easily absorbed.
The bases are cleaned with a damp cloth.
