CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS:
The column is made of sandblasted solid ACACIA wood. When we refer to solid wood, we mean wood made entirely from the trunk of a tree. Solid wood is the most expensive type of wood, but it stands out for its timeless aesthetic. The result it offers its owner is truly unique. Sandblasting gives the wood the feel of well-maintained antiquity.
Acacia wood is one of the best types of wood available on the market. Its mechanical strength and properties approach those of other well-known woods, such as beech, oak, afzelia, teak, and others. It has high biological resistance, meaning it shows excellent resistance to the action of microorganisms that could destroy the material and constructions.
*Existing cracks or those that may appear over time are due to the contraction-expansion of the living organism called solid wood, and do not constitute a manufacturing defect. Also, there may be color variations and differences in the dimensions of the product due to the dimensions of the processed wood. These do not constitute a product defect.
MAINTENANCE:
The table does not require special maintenance. A wipe with a damp cloth is enough, and if there are stains, a gentle spray from the many available on the market. Generally, even in the case of stains, the secret is quick cleaning before the wood has a chance to "soak in". The same applies to marble.
