Choosing the right rug is an issue that can concern any of us quite a bit. As a beautiful and impressive rug adorns our space and gives it character, we always want to make the best choice that will match our aesthetic. The safest, yet very elegant, choice is solid-colored rugs, because with them we effortlessly manage to create a very modern living room, regardless of the decor!
This rug is solid-colored in light GREY, which will be particularly convenient if you have a small living room, as solid-colored rugs in light tones give the illusion of a larger space.
Info: The rug or carpet has been a part of human civilization for centuries. The oldest surviving rug in the world is located in Armenia and dates back to the 5th century BC. However, knotted rugs probably originated in the 3rd or 2nd millennium BC in Western Asia, perhaps in the Caspian Sea region (Northern Iran) or from Armenia, although there is evidence that goats and sheep were slaughtered for this purpose from the 7th millennium! Rugs were traditionally made of wool, but from the 20th century onwards, they are often made from synthetic fibers such as polypropylene, nylon or polyester, as these fibers are less expensive than wool.

MATERIALS:
The rug's surface is made of 100% Polyester fibers, while the rug's backing is 100% cotton. Polyester fibers are a shorthand name for a synthetic, man-made polymer, which, as a specific material, is most often referred to as a type called polyethylene terephthalate (PET). It is clear, therefore, that it is resistant to all kinds of wear and tear, especially moisture. The cotton backing of the rug is also particularly resistant to moisture.
MAINTENANCE:
Thanks to its durable construction materials, this rug can be safely washed with running water and mild detergents, such as dish soap. Of course, there are also special cleaning products for all types of rugs available on the market that you can use without fear. Just be careful not to scrub the cotton bottom part too hard, but only wash it with water.
ADVANTAGES:
